I am still working selling commercial property and casualty insurance. I have been involved with The University of Houston Alumni Association. I intend to work as long as I can. We have been doing a lot of traveling also.

The last 38 years I have been in the men's shirt and jean biz. Starting in 1970 I moved to Dallas to open my own showroom at the Dallas Apparel Mart. In 1975 I moved to LA ,Cal. as Nat/Sales/Mgr. of Kennington Shirt Co. After 6 years I changed jobs to take over sales at Hang Ten. I spent those 11 years traveling to Korea, Hong Kong, Italy Europe looking for new and cheaper places to manufacture goods. This was BEFORE every thing was made in China. Returned to Dallas in 1986 and have been here ever since representing a maker of Jeans out of NY calling on JC Penney Corp. I retired in March 07.

After my early exit from U of St Thomas, I spent 6 years in the Navy as an EM serving on 2 Submarines, an Aircraft Carrier and Destroyer. Worked for Powell Electrical Mfg (Industries), Houston for 31.5 years. I began in the shop as an Inspector, started the field service group, made VP (for 15yrs) named President of a subsidiary in Greenville (for 7.5yrs)

After St. Thomas, I went through the USAF, Yale, University of Texas at Austin and then CIA from 1964-1994. Retired, wrote The Black Tulip, The Main Enemy for Random House. Then did four films with DeNiro, Damon, Jolie, Hanks,and Roberts. A few more films in the works. There IS a third act in life!

Graduated from Texas A&M in 1963. Started with Anderson Clayton Foods Div in Houston, then moved to Portland, OR. In 1977, I purchased Jensen Sales Food Brokerage which merged and later became Performance Systems with offices in Utah, Montana & Idaho. Sold the business in 1998 & retired. Still living in MT but we come to Houston in the winter to golf and enjoy friends and relatives. I enjoy playing golf and traveling.

Finished in Chemical Engineering at Rice, and had a 37 year career in major project and plant design work with Monsanto, Olin, Arco Chemical and Lyondell. Retired in 2000 in Lake Charles when the company made an offer I couldn't refuse. I married a yankee girl, but was patient enough to give her proper training, resulting in a true blue cajun wife, mother, and grandmother. Our most enjoyable times are those we spend with our 8 grandkids in Plano and Baton Rouge.
