ANTHONY DAVILA - BIO
Nick name: Tony Children: 3 beautiful daughters Married: Widower
Work: Valero Energy Hobbies: Tennis, step aerobics and chess
I graduated from Villanova University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. While attending Villanova I met Norma, a lovely Irish lass from Belfast, Northern Ireland. We were married and had three daughters, Natalie, Kelly and Nicolle. Five and a half years ago Norma passed away from complications following her liver transplant. It was a tough loss. From a work standpoint, I've been in the refining and petrochemical industry my entire career. 7 years with Exxon in Venezuela, 22 years with Dow Chemical in Freeport, TX. 5 years with BHP (an Australian company) at their refinery in Hawaii. The last 9 years have been with Valero Refining at their refinery in Louisiana. I've tried retirement twice, but found that I get a great deal of satisfaction from working. The Valero Refinery where I presently work is in the middle of a 3.2 billion dollar expansion. I plan to see it through to completion (God willing), which will be 2010. I went to a Villanova class reunion and got reacquainted with old friends. One of the old friends was Marie Faulkner, to whom I am now engaged! Upon retirement we plan to live in my home in Hawaii.
