Married: 43 years - Nancy Ellen Work: Still working. Currently with Harris County Attorney's office, doing insurance subrogation litigation as a Board Certified subrogation recovery trial litigator specialist. Since May 1968 I have been in insurance litigation on both sides of the trial docket, i.e., plaintiff and defendant. Hobbies: Traveling, reading. I should include buying/rehab'ing/selling real properties as it seems more a hobby than profit endeavor.
Let me address my interior journey or activities - In the past few years, more than the other 66 years, I have deeply begun to "see" from my guts as well as intellect and heart, the value and the preciousness of life and the opportunities given me to grow and give back to my fellow travelers in this lifetime. Years of education, St. Thomas, Tulane, University of Houston Law School, 3 years of monastic life (philosophy); two years of military police duty, open heart surgery, did not scratch the surface of my current realization of the meaning and value of life and giving to others who are traveling with us. And yes, I remember all of this class with genuine appreciation.

After receiving a B.A. from the University of St. Thomas and a Masters from Texas A&M, I spent my entire career as a computer techie, specializing in computer security. I retired in 1995 from Unisys after 23 years and then retired again in 2004 from EDS. I spent a couple of years as an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate School of Management at University of Dallas, but soon realized that Adjunct is shorthand for “almost free labor.” Annie retired in 2005 and we now spend our time visiting grandchildren in Indiana and New Jersey and volunteering at our parish. We wonder how we ever had time to work.
